Knee pain when climbing stairs
Possible reasons behind knee pain when descending a mountain:
– The cartilage within the femur is broken, and so the patella can no longer glide properly.

– There exists a tear or problems for the cruciate ligament. A knee without cruciate ligament is unstable during certain movements and arches on the sides.
