Habitat Canada is partnering with Green Terra Homes to help families achieve affordable proudly owning
Habitat for Humanity Canada and Green Terra Homes are excited to announce a whole new phase of their partnership that will aid families achieve affordable homeownership across the country. Just as one ongoing commitment, Green Terra Homes will give their customers the choice to give one per-cent from the tariff of their purchase to Habitat Canada.
Like Green Terra Homes and its customers, Habitat Canada believes inside the significance of sustainable building.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with an innovative company like Green Terra Homes,” says Mark Rodgers, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada. “This relationship implies that both Green Terra Homes and Habitat Canada are devoted to designing and constructing homes which allow families to get strong, stable and independent.”
Both organizations also connected in 2015, with Green Terra Homes creating a commitment to provide Habitat Canada with steel home framing kits.

About Green Terra Homes
Established next year, Green Terra Homes is Canada’s first in support of CWB CSA A660 and CSA A277 certified steel frame Modular Homes factory. Prefab homes and manufactured homes are constructed using steel from about six recycled cars, saving around 40 trees per home. The manufacturing facility in Trenton ON also manufactures park model homes, and RVs as well as steel buildings and structures. The factory is ready to accept people with prior appointment.
