The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session musicians to record the tune durring a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark wanted the best outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as we are able to and then ideally in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to at least one or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
One other main goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to help fund and create a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll present free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flights to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
