Motion 5 developers have announced a brand new animated effect entitled inMotion3D Shatter from Pixel Film Studios.

Smash and shatter footage or still pictures as 3D fragments explode to show the next image from Pixel Film Studios. With Motion 5 Plugins and lights moving 5, users can take their shatter effect one stage further. Spin, pivot or pan across the media as it shatters into countless tiny pieces.

Control the shatter of any footage inside Motion 5 and view as 3D fragments and shards fly from the camera. inMotion3D Shatter’s animation is automatic and customizable, so users can just drag, drop an electrical generator into the timeline, apply their media to the Drop Zone, and watch because it shatters.

Use the controls within the inspector window to fully customize the Motion shatter template. Users can alter the quantity, weight, gravity, thickness and impact of the shatter effect to produce endless cool looks.

Users may add photos, videos or color solids for their shatter effect. Simply drag the media to the timeline after which apply it to the generator. Once the media is in the generator, users can uncheck the visibility box with the original media layer.

Made for Motion 5, users can easily drag and drop the generator into the timeline, and then adjust the look. With the 3D camera and lightweight sources obtainable in Motion 5, users can make more looks than in the past.
