A Course In Miracles – Guidance For Inner Harmony
This innocuous book came to my attention in 2005 and possesses passed through my hands several times since. I had no inclination to peruse its contents for I had ceased to believe in miracles. In 2005, I became cursing God for abandoning me. I was using all of my energy to stop the hell I descended into 20 years earlier by marrying a guy as un-Godly anyone could be.
In 2007, while packing some books as donations for any book fair, my hand once more fell on “A Course in Miracles”. By now, I had secured the divorce from my better half but was still working with the fallout. While i grasped it, I came to be very thoughtful and calm. What was it concerning this book that invoked feelings I hadn’t familiar with many years? Me clung on the book refusing to set it down. Realizing that this became an indication i should take particular notice, I developed a bag and sat inside my favorite reading chair. With great curiosity, I dedicated to the blue hardcover and focus “A Course in Miracles, the groundwork for inner peace.” Wow. That was a pretty bold statement but okay, I made the decision to bite. Taking a deep breath, I pondered decreasing question: What IS the foundation for inner peace? This book instantly opened an old wound and it had better have the reply to healing.
“A Course in Miracles” is that, a course. Developed in three parts, this book isn’t to become taken lightly and will not be read per week or perhaps a month. There is certainly text, a workbook for young students along with a manual for teachers. I’d the sudden urge to fling the book through the room because I was deeply and profoundly afraid. I instinctively understood once I began looking over this book, I used to be going to need to change and was I ready for that journey ahead?
The most popular movie is “The Matrix”. The principle character Neo is looking for the reply to the matrix. He understands the matrix exists but he doesn’t determine what it’s. The guy with all the answer, Morpheus, contacts Neo and will be offering the ability for truth giving Neo an option between going for a blue pill or perhaps a red pill. Make blue pill and also be ignorant or consider the red pill and find the answer to the matrix. Before he reaches for his pill of choice, Morpheus cautions Neo which should he choose the red pill, he can never get back to living he been living.

Because i choke down the red pill, I flip to Lesson 1 of 365 within the workbook for students and promptly read, “Nothing I see with this room means anything”. Oh dear. Would it be too far gone to look at blue pill?
