Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is really a small family-oriented breeder positioned in Raleigh, NC. Our adoration for English Cream Golden Retrievers began with an earnest look for a great dog. We needed a puppy that’s kid-friendly and trainable, using a calm, gentle temperament and then we began trying to find breeds that had characteristics works with our lifestyle.

Because we love to hiking, lake and beach time, we wanted a puppy that loved water and exercise. It was also key the dog not a barker since we work at home. After much research, we chosen the English Cream Golden Retrievers, which was the right fit for all of us.

We wanted months for a quality male from the responsible small family breeder, last but not least found him. In 2008, we fell completely fond of our first boy, Kozmo, together with his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and now we were immediately enthusiastic about the breed. We added Holly to family and, in 2014, our extended dog family started to form with your first litter going to carefully selected others who live nearby.

After witnessing the enrichment of a lot of lives, we had been inspired to continue sharing our special dogs with additional families along with the broader community.

Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying some of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It has been a rewarding experience for the family, the dogs, as well as the individuals finding the comfort and joy our dogs tell everyone.

We continue our focus on dogs best-suited to be loving loved ones and hopefully future therapy dogs.
