it has got the 24.2-megapixel Dual Pixel CMOS with 45-point phase-detection autofocus and the same metering system that are from the 80D. Therefore, it remains a marginally more complex option than that with its slightly better building and top status display.
But it now fits much more awkwardly relating to the T7i and the 80D, as it’s also simply a cheaper, lesser-build-quality version that lacks any sort of weather sealing. That is certainly not even a certain with real prices rather than Canon-set ones. And so i suspect the 80D will either be replaced this summer by an up-to-date model or by way of a “new” model that better occupies the middle ground relating to the 77D and 7D Mark II.
