I am not sure when I first got word of awakening mind. I recognize that we purchased it in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside cover.

Somehow — and I don’t remember how — we made a decision to turn instead to the Workbook for college students, featuring its 365 daily lessons. We must happen to be divinely inspired in this decision, since it helped us and contains continued to work from the time.

Now, a lot more than couple of years later, were well to the Workbook to get a second time. The daily lessons and in many cases the writing now make perfect sense. I now look forward to doing the lessons every morning after getting my first mug of coffee. I am looking forward to utilizing the teachings contained in the lessons into meditation where I can discuss them my spirit guides. I am looking forward to the weekly study get togethers where we review and discuss the lessons that people done individually during the entire week.

ACIM has totally changed my thought of the planet, and I have become devoted to it. The analysis get togethers normally leave me in a state of bliss, because ACIM helps me remember everything I knew when still in spirit but forgot once i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one of them of the way the Course has changed my thought of the planet: I did previously believe that this physical world is real which was created by God, nature, as well as other forces external in my experience. I now understand that I have been tricked by my five senses into believing life is real. I now understand that it turned out I who come up with form of world I see around me and every one of my experiences inside. What I see “out there” is really simply a projection of what is going on during my own mind. This physical world is surely an illusion, a hologram by which I can play and learn. None than it is real — I got all up!

Thus, I am to blame for the kind of world I see around me and many types of my experiences inside. I’m not really a target of life’s circumstances in the end. Other people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. I see a few things i see, I experience a few things i experience, and I feel a few things i feel since i decide on so during my own mind.

There is no point in going “out there” to alter any particular item on earth. You can’t control, manipulate, or correct it. This may be like going to a movie theatre and stomping as much as destroy the screen since you can’t stand the video you’re watching.

Inside your change any particular item on screen is to locate the projector in the rear of a play and modify the film. The right way to change any particular item “out there” on earth would be to change what’s “in here” is likely to mind. Change your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Start to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you do that, the planet the truth is “out there” will begin to change. So long as is going to be kept in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.

ACIM is pretty simple and easy unequivocal about it: You are able to remain asleep in this physical illusion, dreaming that it is real, provided you prefer. Or awaken spiritually and see that you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself declared that Heaven will be here, all over, but we have not managed to notice. Even as we awaken through the dream about this physical illusion, i will be capable of experience Heaven in this article on the planet.
