When NEWS Is just too Much Information

The cast of characters are settling looking their new situations. They are that nothing much must be happening to upset that world, yet, they are surprisingly wrong.

This tale of innuendo, gossip, lies, misdirection and intrigue results in authentically as a comedy of errors and misinformation. The premise is easy enough and subtle enough to give a good base.

Ma Foster provides housing to be with her “girls,” Bella, Chloe and Kitty. The three in residence are missing. Ma constitutes a big problem over it. She even goes to the neighborhood newspaper if the local police do not respond to her fears. She does bring in the out-of-work detective, the newest editor from the local newspaper and lastly the location itself.

The central character is Henrietta, who had previously been named following the town involved, Henryetta, Oklahoma. Henrietta provides extensive looking for her today, she gets moved to the large city, OKC, OK and landed a job together with the local t.v. station. Of course this won’t strengthen your journalistic career, it lets you do get her in the middle of City map and events of the afternoon. One other main characters are Gigi Carpenter, a feminist reporter turned editor from the local newspaper. Max (Maximo) Morgan a would-be gum shoe private investigator using a penchant for old murder mysteries, especially Dashiel Hammet’s “Fat Man” tales. Then Deano DeBoffo because “reality” show director wanting to shot an airplane pilot for the new show. Finally, Shatner Lapp, as a newsman, publisher, editor and all-round ancient boy, comes to town to help in his Princeton buddy’s newspaper problems.

Once these folks become involved in the gossip laden townsfolk, the misinformation flies. With increased rumors then the facts probably warrant, the three missing girls be plus much more objects of speculation and intrigue while hardly any factual info is given. The rumors begin mild because missing girls are simply looked for by Ma and Maximo.

These rumors and gossip finally resulted in a serious “reporter war” between Shat and Gigi. The misinformation here becomes the avalanche cascading on the news and therefore the townspeople.
