Nishant Sudhakaran From India Sculpts a work of art Scrap Metal Ganesha Idol!
With a strong family belief in Lord Ganesha, in 2010 ace sculptor Nishant Sudhakaran (Founder at Leo Enterprises) has surpassed all imaginative goals to make a six foot Ganesha idol with automobile scraps.
A professional in creating sculptors out of metal scrap, when a client approached Nishant to create one of Lord Ganesha, he couldn’t resist. He believes his baby little girl is an answer to his prayers to Ganpati/ Ganesha, he believed this came as a possible chance to express his passion on the higher power.

Regardless of the short notice, an undertaking that will need a dedication of nearly 60 – 70 days, he completed this magnificent piece in a month. Tirelessly day time and night with his team, according to him “Ganpati Bappa removes all obstacles.”
The thick sized, heavy automobile parts would have to be handpicked so they could easily fit into like a jigsaw puzzle. The most difficult and challenging part was the entire process of hammering and bending the parts to own desire form of our bodies. Sourcing flat parts from various vendors included with task of executing the project with the deadline, which however we was able to accomplish.
A 6 feet in height “The Lord Ganesha” sculpture, it can be made purely from various automobile scrap parts. These parts are almost Ten to fifteen mm in thickness that had been bent & welded together and meticulously shaped to restore an entire metal sculpture. This Ganpati Idol has been given from over 850 KGs of automobile car parts like disk brakes, fenders, clutch plates, flat gears, shaft gears, spark plugs, connecting rods, automobile chains, crank shafts in order to name some. The Mooshak (Mouse/ Undir Mama) is also created from gears, nuts, bolts plus using a piston block along with a wrought iron tail.
With all the 6 foot Ganpati created out of automobile scrap for his client, the following project for Nishant is a ten to eleven foot kinetic wind sculpture.
