2016 Christmas Rock n Roll music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand
A fresh 2016 Xmas rock-POP track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .
The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks is a special up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session players to record the track durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States as a result of Mark needed the best result and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day web site as we are able to and then ideally in-turn they’ll be good enough to give to at least one or all of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
Another main goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to promote his track Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Thailand Villa and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
