2016 Xmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand
A brand new 2016 Xmas rock track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .
The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks style is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to record the track durring a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark wanted the best result and quality. The track is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site as possible and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be good enough to contribute to one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the track.
One other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood schools and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to advertise his track Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to simply help including a Phuket island Hotel and cheap flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
