2016 Christmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand
A brand new 2016 Xmas rock n roll song has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .
The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a unique up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session players to studio record the song durring a 6 week period. The track includes 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the USA due to Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site that we can and then hopefully in-turn they will be kind enough to donate to one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
One other definitive goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his song Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Hotel and budget flights to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
