Most significant secrets we strive to help keep is really a feeling of autonomy and pride. The thought or feeling you are important in some kind of special way, that you are preferred among a special person, that a person is giving you special attention, these are some of the ego’s very subtle secrets. We’re wanting to hide our Divine Self and therefore are playing all these different games, which seem to be very upsetting. It is pretty depressing and it really doesn’t go anywhere, so we attempt to get scraps of special love, attention and recognition to prop ourselves up.

We work so faithfully at becoming “better people”, at gaining greater intelligence plus more skills. We want to be liked increasingly be popular. The entire self-help market is centered on enhancing the self to help you turned into a better you. Which is another trick we secretly experience ourselves, thinking we will need to keep spinning our wheels looking to become better. For me personally, these are the big secrets, as it doesn’t start out with this great awareness. It always begins with feeling as you have done a problem, whether you’ve masturbated, stolen something, mistreated somebody, or there is something in your mind you have judged as so hideous that you just don’t even want to face the facts, you want to that would be that and push against each other of awareness.
